Gardenview is a French Immersion elementary school located in the north central part of the Island of Montreal. We opened our doors to serve local children in 1956. Gardenview has enlarged three times to meet the needs of a growing Saint-Laurent population.
Our school draws over 800 children from the Boroughs of Saint-Laurent and Ahuntsic-Cartierville.
In the 1970's, Gardenview adopted a French Immersion Program and has successfully integrated children into its bilingual society for over 30 years.
We adopted a School Uniform policy in 1998 to further promote school pride and a sense of belonging for ALL children and opened a new computerized French library and a bilingual library in 2002.
