Social Studies
The aims of the Social Studies programme are to:
Stimulate the students' awareness of the world around them and to introduce them to certain realities.
Enable the child to develop an awareness of the concept of time, space and society.
Familiarize the students with certain important landmarks in the history and geography of Quebec and Canada and to develop an awareness of the ethnic and the cultural character of Quebec and Canada.
Become citizens of a changing world.
The Social Studies programme is taught in Cycles II and III.
