About Gardenview

Located in the northern central region of Montreal Island, Gardenview School is a vibrant French Immersion elementary school serving families from St. Laurent and Nouveau St. Laurent. Since embracing French Immersion in the 1970s, we have remained committed to preparing students for success in Québec’s bilingual landscape.

Our school community reflects the world. Students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. This diversity enriches daily life at Gardenview, fostering an inclusive environment where students learn from one another and celebrate their unique perspectives.

Today, Gardenview welcomes students from Pre‑Kindergarten to Grade 6. Our dedicated team includes over 45 teachers, specialized support staff, daycare personnel, and professionals such as a psychologist, nurse, spiritual and community animator, speech‑language pathologist, and occupational therapist. Nearly half of our students travel by school bus, and our daycare program supports more than 200 children regularly or occasionally.
