B.A.S.E. Daycare Program

The English Montreal School Board’s B.A.S.E. (Before and After School Enriched) Daycare Program is a Quebec government subsidized supervision service offered outside regular class hours for preschool and elementary school children. The B.A.S.E. Daycare Program’s objective is to enhance the lives of children aged four to 12 years old by providing them with enriching educational activities set in a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment. B.A.S.E. operates daily on the days that Gardenview School is open.

The day-to-day administration of the program and its staff is managed by the BASE Daycare Technician, Ms. Adriana Pololos (apololos@emsb.qc.ca). She can also be reached at: (514) 788-0018.

  • Daycare Hours: 7:00–8:50 a.m. & 3:40–6:00 p.m.

  • Offers outdoor play, snacks, homework time, and organized activities

  • Students must report to their assigned B.A.S.E. classroom as instructed by the morning supervisor

  • School rules apply to the daycare program; parents must ensure children follow them

  • Parent Pick‑Up: Parents must wait at the B.A.S.E. entrance after school and cannot walk their child to or from the classroom
